CNC machined from Bar-Stock, this Heinie cross dovetail front sight for the 1911 Mil-Spec is all black and does not have a ramp. It is a blank front that allows your pistolsmith to create a customized front sight height. This frontsight utilizes a proprietary Heinie dovetail cut.
Machining of the slide is required for installation. Heinie recommends using a competent pistolsmith for installation. HSP offers installation, turn around time is currently running about 1-2 weeks.
Blued finish, rust preventative is recommended.
