Designed for modern "Round Back" Savage Long Actions, it bridges the receiver to provide a rigid, one-piece mounting platform. We include mounting hardware for both standard receivers (#6-48 screws) and heavy-duty magnum/target receivers (#8-40 screws).
Machined from domestic 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, this rail is lightweight and specifically contoured to the round top of the AccuTrigger-era receivers. The center channel reduces weight and allows you to see your iron sights on some models. The full-length cross slots give you complete freedom to position your scope rings for the perfect eye relief.
