Description
70 SERIES COLT ®1911A1 TENON STAKED PATRIDGE FRONT - .150" Tall (Kensight Item# 870-110)
The M1911-A1 Series 70 tritium front night sight is a direct replacement for the Colt Series '70 Gold Cup Pistol with a fixed MIL-SPEC rear.
This sight is what is called a patridge style blade. It is ideal for target shooting because the rear of the blade is completely vertical. With the addition of a serrated blade, this gives the shooter a better sight picture because there is virtually no glare from the sun, as well as a good contrast between it and the rear sight. At just .150" tall, this sight was made to pair with Kensight® item 860-202 but will work well with any standard fixed MIL-SPEC .330" wide x .115" deep rear sight.
The blade dimensions are .150" tall x .118" wide and has a .056" tenon to fit a '70 Series Colt. The green tritium insert is made and installed by Cammenga®, is .077" in diameter and has a bright white outline made of PVC.
