This BHPrear sight uses the Heinie BHP Rearproprietary dovetail cut. It features the Classic design.It is the original rear design produced by Heinie and offers a clear, crisp sight picture when paired with the Heinie cross dovetail front. Equipped front and rear sight serrations and the legendary Straight Eight night sight system, it is a must have addition to your firearm. One single tritium insert in the rear (for low-light and night time shooting) that aligns vertically with the single tritium front insert (when used as a set). This vertical alignment is proven to be faster and less confusing for the human eye.
Machining of the slide is required for installation. Heinie recommends using a competent pistolsmith for installation. HSP offers installation, turn around time is currently running about 1-2 weeks.
Blued finish, rust preventative is recommended.
